Dec. 2018 – Erhvervsinvest acquires Arminox

Erhvervsinvest acquires Arminox A/S a leading supplier of stainless reinforcement steel, as well as stainless wall- and tile ties for the construction industry

Arminox, founded in 1950, is a leading supplier of stainless reinforcement steel for large infrastructure projects, worldwide, as well as the leading manufacturer of stainless wall- and tile ties in Denmark.

Arminox has its headquarters in Mønsted close to Viborg, where 24 of the 31 employees works, as well as subsidiaries in Dubai and Canada.

“We are very pleased with the recent years development in Arminox. Together with our talented and dedicated employees, we have created a solid foundation for further growth. We are pleased to have found a partner that can help us continue the development of Arminox’s business areas,” says Jan List Christensen, CEO of Arminox.

“I’m proud of Arminox and the company’s development. We pass on a good company, with skilled and dedicated employees, to Erhvervsinvest. I know Erhvervsinvest very well from earlier in connection with the sale of Randers Reb International and I am convinced that Erhvervsinvest is a good owner of Arminox,” says Knud Laursen, former majority shareholder of Arminox.

Arminox is recognized worldwide for their knowledge of stainless reinforcement steel for large infrastructure projects – as well as their significant position and brand within wall- and tile ties in Denmark.

As an example of large infrastructure projects, Arminox has supplied stainless reinforcement steel to the Shenzen Western Corridor in Hong Kong that connects Hong Kong and China and a 6-track highway between Abu Dhabi and the mainland of the United Arab Emirates.

“Arminox is a well-run company with a scalable production setup and a strong international profile that has experienced stable growth in recent years. We see a further potential in the company’s capabilities and knowledge in stainless reinforcement steel, as well as stainless wall- and tile ties, and look forward to working with the management and the skilled employees for further development,” says Managing Partner in Erhvervsinvest Thomas Marstrand.
